Trivia Streak is a daily trivia game at trivia.smr.et. This page says what it stores about you, why, and how to remove it. There are no ads, no tracking scripts, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.

What we store

• A guest account. The first time you play, the server creates an account with a random ID and gives your browser a signed token, kept in your browser’s local storage. No name or email is needed to play.
• Your game. The name you pick for the league, your time zone (to know when your day starts), your reminder time if you set one, your rounds, answers, answer times, XP, streaks and streak freezes.
• Reports. If you report a question, we keep the reason you chose.
• Google sign-in, only if you use it. Your Google account ID, email address and name. We use them to link your progress to your Google account and to recognise you on another device. We do not get your password, contacts or anything else from Google.
• Server logs. Our hosting may briefly log IP addresses and requests to keep the service running and to limit abuse.

If you play offline (when the site cannot reach the server), your progress stays in your browser and is not sent to us.

Who can see it

• Other players see your league name and XP on the weekly and all-time tables. They never see your email.
• The people who run Trivia Streak can see accounts in the admin page to fix problems, handle reports and remove abuse.
• Service providers that host the game: Vercel serves the website, and the game server and database run on our own server. When you sign in with Google, Google handles that step under its own privacy policy.

Google user data

Trivia Streak’s use of information received from Google follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request your basic profile (ID, email, name), use it only to sign you in and keep your progress, and never use it for ads or share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

As long as your account exists. You can delete it at any time.

Deleting your data

Open You and choose Delete my account and data. That removes your account, name, game history, reports and Google link straight away. Clearing your browser’s site data instead only removes the token on that device, not the account on our server.

You can also remove Trivia Streak’s access in your Google account settings.

Children

Trivia Streak is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
